Summer sessions 2026!

Kicking off our summer sessions this year with an absolute banger! We’ve got Flankman coming along on Friday 24th of July and will be serving food from 5:30-8/8:30pm! Expect their amazing tacos and loaded fries to fly out. Ethos will be open on the night too so you can mooch between the two venues!

We’ve got a limited edition Mexican inspired cocktail menu available on the night (see second image) and it will also run across the remainder of that weekend or until sold out! As with last year, we will be running offers and discounts throughout or summer session evenings so keep an eye out for those!

We’ve got more nights coming up, all with cocktail inspired by the menus being served and will be announced soon!

Bit of a plumbing nightmare just in time for the weekend.

We will be opening slightly different times due to having to cut the water off and only opening as a shop.

Today (Thursday) Chris will try to get open for around 3pm till 5pm.

Friday we will be open from 2-6pm
Saturday we will be open 12-6pm.

We won’t be serving drinks on site so it will only be retail. If we can get some takeaway glasses sorted, we will be doing takeaway cocktails but due to having no water, we cannot open as a bar.

East 8 Hold Up:

With summer in full swing and the warm evenings out in force, our East 8 Hold Up is proving again, why it’s a summer classic!

British wheat vodka paired with pineapple, Aperol, passionfruit and lime creates the perfect summer cocktail. A little bit sweet, a little bit sour and a little bit of bitterness…. What more could you ask for!

Perfect straight out of the bottle and over ice… or if you have a shaker, shake for 10 seconds to add just a touch of dilution to soften it that little bit more!

Available on our website in 300ml bottles and in our core range gifts sets, it is also available in our store in amble, in 100ml single serve bottles. You can also find it in a range of our on trade and retail stockists!

Espresso Martinis in the summer sun! Name a cocktail that doesn’t epitomise late summer nights than espresso martinis! Perfect at sunset to keep the night going, our bottled Vodka Espresso and Espresso Martini we do at Hummingbird Amble always go down a storm.

Our Vodka Espresso RTD is made with British wheat vodka, Grounded Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, a really high quality cold brew concentrate and dark chocolate liqueur.

Our Espresso Martini on site is made with fresh espresso pulled from Northumberland Coffee beans and sweetened with either Demerara sugar or we infuse a local stout in there sometimes!

Truly a coffee for those late summer nights!

Boathouse Martini:

Since it’s we thought we would give a special shoutout to The Old Boat House, Amble in Amble. As one of our key local on trade accounts, we worked with them to create their own martini, perfect to compliment their amazing seafood.

We use a local gin and cold infuse it with rapeseed oil from Seabanks oil & vinegar | Fruit vinegars | Karen Park just a few miles down the road. From there it is filtered off to leave a silky textured gin which is then mixed with Lillet Blanc, Fee Brothers Orange Bitters and just a touch of MARLISH WATER to round it off.

Only available at The Old Boathouse, so if you’re visiting this weekend, make sure to give it a try, grab some snaps and tag us in them!

Hummingbird x Real Fitness

Our first Espresso Martini went down an absolute storm! Thank you to everyone who turned up and we’ll have the second date coming out very soon! The next one will be at Real Fitness in Alnwick, expect more espresso martinis, more drinks and more running!

Chris is actually going to be on site for a bit today, so we will be open from 12-3pm.

El Colibri Daiquiri:

One of our best selling bottled cocktails, the perfect balance of sweet, tart and a little dry! We blend a white, Jamaican rum with peach and pineapple then finish it off with a splash of lime and manzanilla sherry!

You get smashed in the face with peach and pineapple then the funk from the rum rounds out the tropical feel! The nutty notes from the manzanilla come through at the end to perfectly balance the cocktail out.
