Hey 👋🏼
I thought I’d introduce myself to my new followers.
I’m Lewis Twydle and I am personal chef/event caterer offering my culinary services for weddings, parties, formal events, dinner parties etc. I’ve always been inspired by good food and cooking having grown up watching cookery shows, my mother having her own catering business and eating at some of the best restaurants.
At 18, I trained at the Tante Marie cookery school in Woking. Since then I have been fortunate enough to have worked in some incredible restaurants where my love for cooking only grew.
These included:
✨ the Artichoke in Old Amersham
✨ the Royal Oak in Marlow
✨ Andrew Fairlie Gleneagles
I have also learnt a great deal from doing some ‘stages’ at the Woodspeen, Le Champignon Sauvage and the Wild Rabbit to name a few.
I have also had some amazing experiences during my career like touring with Paul McCartney (which improved my vegetation and vegan repertoire🌱) and being on Master Chef The Professionals in 2016.
Over the last 5 years, especially, I have travelled to many countries including south east Asia where I have added to my repertoire of Asian cuisine.
I love using all the skills and knowledge I’ve learned over the years to create rich flavourful dishes with a balance of acidity, texture, sweetness and saltiness.
