Moody sky this morning over Old Amersham.

I’ve been really rubbish at posting anything recently 😬 - keep making videos in the mornings and taking a gazillion photos and then getting completely distracted by who knows what - so frustrating!

So now I’m in bed, it’s 11.30pm and I’m posting pics from this morning - aarrghh!!

There was a fab moody, grey sky for the most part, but then the sun would cut through and hit the fields and it looked amazing. It’s all very inspiring for the latest needle felting picture I’m making - bit like taking a ‘pano’ photo, I’m doing it on a rectangular piece of felt. Pictures will come (at some point🙄)

Right, bed time! Got to be up early again to walk the doggo and do another video that I’ll probably not get round to posting!!

Great way to start the day!
Breakfast al fresco while I watch the sparrows dipping in and out of the bird bath and I count up all the jobs in the garden that need doing today - starting with planting the tomato plants.
I can smell roses and perennial stocks from where I’m sitting.
We don’t have a big garden but it’s an oasis of green and my little haven ☺️.
There’s a very tuneful black bird in fine voice this morning, sparrows are chattering and squabbling in the hedge and I’m just waiting for the pair of robins to come begging for meal worms!

You don’t need acres of land to engage in nature 😉❤️

Just had a lovely afternoon at Waddesdon - particularly to enjoy the ‘Art in Nature’ event.
How fabulous to see such talented artists use nature’s ‘art supplies’ to create beautiful works of art. Plus we got to make our own little piece too!
Shame we couldn’t get there in the morning - so much to appreciate, so little time 🤷🏻‍♀️
