The ladies from the Shed in partnership with the Library Of Things have created a few of these amazing crochet kits. And decided to drop them in with us. These are for people to either try while they sit with a coffee or take away with them! Trying to help reduce social isolation and get more people into crafting!

Just a reminder to you all that we close this weekend Friday to Sunday. This is to allow our small team to have a few days rest and completely switch off.

Thank you to everyone who came along tonight to help raise £690 for The Shed, Antrim
It was a great evening and really shows the need for this amazing group in Antrim!
They found a temporary home in Antrim library to continue offering their services

✨️ UPDATE: So just over 24 hours ago we got devastating news that our Shed had been destroyed in a fire that began in a neighbouring property along with all our belongings.

We have been so moved with the overwhelming support and offer of help and our wee Antrim community should be hugely proud of themselves.

Fundraising began nearly immediately and thanks to Declan from Tiny House Coffee offered to run a quiz this evening and with the very kind donations of raffle prizes from Ashley our Asda Community Champion we were able to raise an amazing total of £695.10.

The winner of the £70 shopping voucher as donated it back to us to spend on fabric for another charity we help Q4CL Northern Ireland as we make the quilt tops for those leaving care.

All this means so much to our amazing ladies who love coming together, for company for themselves and to help others in our community. All these kind donations will help start to replace everything we have lost, which is everything.

We also held an emergency committee meeting this afternoon at Tiny House Coffee and see where we are at and to begin planning for our future. Below is our wonderful committee ❤️

We have also been given very kindly a room in Antrim Library 4 mornings per week for the summer and Journey Church has also very kindly given is a room to use on Tuesday mornings and some evenings if available.

| EMERGENCY FUNDRAISING QUIZ|
The Shed Antrim is a pillar of support and a vital service to many of the daily members. They are also very good friends of Tiny House Coffee and have helped us out through the years.
They suffered fire damage due to an unfortunate house fire close to their unit and as a result cannot open for the foreseeable future.
Any help and support that the people from Antrim can offer them would go a long way to helping them secure their future!

We will be holding a last minute quiz night at Tiny House in aid of the Ladies at the shed tomorrow at 6pm and welcome along everyone that can make it.

This is in the hopes of raising enough to allow them to purchase some of the basic craft supplies to be able to start up again in a new temporary location and to also cover costs of salvaging what remains of their current items.

Prizes will be donated by us and there is no set charge per table we will simply leave a bucket out for people to donate as they wish.

All funds raised including from coffee and traybakes sold on the night will go to the Ladies at the Shed.
Please spread the word and let’s get as many people supporting this as we can. If you cannot attend please feel free to leave a donation in the collection box that will be at the shop for the foreseeable future.

| Plants and Shrubs|
We are on the hunt to add a little bit of greenery to the area around us, we are wondering if anyone has any mature plants or shrubs that maybe need a second life and rehoused. (Ideally in pots)

We are happy to make a donation to a charity of your choice and we can arrange to collect these too! Or we can also pay you for them.

We tried to plant a few new plants and shrubs however they just aren’t growing quick enough to fill the space!
Even if the pots are cracked, they are damaged or looking a bit worse for wear we will replant and try and give them a second chance!
