Meet Sandra – AKA the reason we finally joined TikTok! 🤣🎥

Sandra has been with us for just over a year, starting out as one of our Sunday runners. Through hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for looking after our guests, she worked her way up to become one of our fantastic front-of-house waitresses and a valued member of the team.

Although we’ll sadly be waving Sandra off to university in August to start an exciting new chapter, we’re delighted to say she’ll be back to see us during the holidays. ❤️

When she’s on shift, Sandra brings professionalism, reliability, and brilliant customer service. Behind the scenes, however, she’s the queen of TikTok! Keeping us all entertained with belly laughs, questionable dance moves, and convincing the team to do the most ridiculous things for content. 🤣

Thanks to Sandra’s creativity, enthusiasm, and endless ideas, our TikTok account has taken on a life of its own and given everyone plenty of laughs along the way.

We’re incredibly proud to have Sandra as part of the team and can’t wait to see everything she achieves at university. Until then, you’ll still find this little firecracker lighting up the pub, looking after our customers, and keeping the TikTok content flowing! ✨🎬

Jersey Royals are one of the most anticipated ingredients of the season.

Grown exclusively on the Isle of Jersey and traditionally fertilised with local seaweed, these prized new potatoes are known for their delicate skins and earthy, nutty flavour.

Here at The George at Burpham, we're serving Jersey Royals alongside our whole plaice dish, as well as offering them as a side.

Harry joined us a year ago as part of a pit stop before heading off on his travelling adventures, and what a year it’s been!

Bringing endless charisma, energy, and plenty of banter, Harry has become a huge part of both our team and our pub community. Loved by our locals for his friendly nature and warm welcome, he’s always ready with a smile, a story, and great service.

Behind the scenes, Harry takes enormous pride in looking after our cellar and beer lines, ensuring every pint that leaves the bar is in perfect condition. His attention to detail and passion for quality means you can always count on a fantastic pint when Harry’s around.

Whether he’s keeping spirits high amongst the team or pulling the perfect pint for our guests, Harry is a valued member of the family and we’re incredibly lucky to have him.
