We want to create a nice welcome atmosphere for people to come and get a nice drink and meet up with friends over a proper brew! Real coffee in a nice mug and proper tea in a teapot and teacups. Homemade cakes and soups will be available. Soup will vary from day to day and will be served with a fresh bread roll. Tea, coffee, soup will all be available to take out so if you're in a rush just grab one and go, or stay and relax and enjoy the time. Free wifi is available to customers.

SNUGFEST ARTIST SPOTLIGHT // FREIGHT
Friday night's headliners are Freight.

Formed through a teenage friendship and a chance opportunity at a local pub open mic, Freight have gone from treating their first gig like a stadium show to becoming one of the North West's most exciting emerging bands.

Since then they've picked up support from BBC Introducing, Radio X and TalkSport, while their summer single The Only Thing I Know has amassed more than 40,000 Spotify streams. Blending indie pop, funk and infectious melodies, the band continue to carve out a sound that's entirely their own.

Working with producers behind records from bands including Viola Beach and Corella, Freight are building serious momentum – and they'll be kicking off Friday night at SnugFest 2026 in style.

Huge congratulations to Andy Burnham on becoming our new Prime Minister.

Here he is at The Snug in 2023, standing alongside the people who believe that grassroots music venues matter. Andy has consistently supported music and culture, and is himself a shareholder in Music Venue Properties, the organisation that brought The Snug into community ownership.

I’m very proud to be a member of the Greater Manchester Music Commission, created under Andy’s leadership, and to have witnessed first hand his belief in culture, communities and places too often overlooked by Westminster.

Today feels like a moment of hope. Hope that things can change. Hope that our towns, grassroots venues, working people and communities will finally be heard.

Congratulations, Prime Minister. Now let’s get to work 🎢
