What an incredible month for our first ever Ayrshire 100 challenge!

Throughout May, more than 50 supporters came together to cover 100km their way, whether that was walking, running, cycling, swimming, or taking on the challenge as part of a team. Together, an estimated 4,000km were covered across the month, all in support of local people affected by cancer.

A special thank you goes to Rocket Monkey Roastery for hosting their fantastic 24-hour cycle relay event as part of our Ayrshire 100 challenge. The team put an immense amount of work into this event and it was truly heartwarming to see many members of our community show up to support.

Thank you to everyone who took part this month. Your support is greatly appreciated and allows us to continue to support the people of Ayrshire who are affected by cancer🧡

WOW! Thank You – 24 Hour Charity Cycle Relay has been completed. Together, we cycled an amazing 1,440.32km in just 24 hours — the equivalent distance from John O’Groats to Land’s End.

Over 24 continuous hours, groups of friends, colleagues and strangers came together to raise money for Ayrshire Cancer Support. This just shows what can be achieved when people unite behind an important cause!

This relay was about more than miles. It was about supporting our community and raising visibility and funds for a fantastic local charity.

Everyone who volunteered their time behind the scenes to keep the event running smoothly - thank you.

Friends and family who cheered us on and helped keep spirits high - thank you.

Everyone who believed in the challenge and helped us reach this remarkable milestone -Thank you.

Strangers that popped in to cycle or donate - thank you.

It was a phenomenal event - it was genuinely heart warmer to hear firsthand stories about how Ayrshire Cancer Support helped them or a family member and how viral their services are.

From the first pedal stroke to the final kilometre, this was a true community effort.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.

TODAY’S THE DAY!🚴

The Rocket Monkey Roastery 24-Hour Cycling Challenge kicks off today at 10am and we’d love for everyone to come along and get involved whether that’s by grabbing a coffee, taking a slot on the bike, attending one of the workshops or simply cheering everyone on.

All proceeds from today's 24 hour event will be donated directly to Ayrshire Cancer Support, helping us to continue to provide vital cancer support services across Ayrshire🧡

Not long until our 24h cycle relay starts - Friday 22nd of May 10am in the coffee shop. Not only do we have the main event, cycling for 24h, we also have a host of great events throughout the day.

Come along and cycle, but a coffee or get involved in some of our classes.

10am we start, 11am will be in cycling and playing some tunes, 2pm we have a latte art class to sharpen up your skills, 3pm we have popping in to play a set, 6pm the amazing will be here to show you how to create custom tote bags, 8pm we have providing some slow yoga and providing some massages to help revitalise you and get you ready for the weekend. Then on Saturday morning at 8am we have the brilliant doing a sound bath to make sure your weekend starts off correctly. The on sat at 10am we finish the cycle relay. This is going to be a brilliant day with all proceeds going to Ayrshire cancer support.

24h cycling relay - next Friday 22nd from 10am. Fancy getting involved? We only have a few space left so book quickly, especially if you feel like a late night cycle. Specifically looking for 10pm slots and early morning on Saturday. If you know any absolute legends that will want to cycle through the night with us get tagging. This is shaping up to be a great day.
