☕❤️ UPDATED MENU. SAME MISSION. ❤️☕

For almost five years, Source has been much more than a coffee shop.

It has been a place where friendships have been formed, conversations have been shared, confidence has been built, and opportunities have been created for young adults with learning difficulties.

Every day, we have the privilege of seeing people grow, develop new skills, and achieve things they never thought possible. Watching that happen is the reason Source exists.

Like many small cafés, however, the reality is that the world around us has changed. Costs continue to rise, and the challenge of keeping a community café open has become greater than ever before.

The truth is that Source cannot continue without support.

That is why over the coming days we’ll be introducing our new simplified menu, focusing on our customer favourites 👌

Not because we want to make bigger profits. Not because we want to become something we're not.

But because we want to give Source the best possible chance of continuing to serve our community and continue the life-changing work we do with the incredible young people who come through our doors.

Every coffee you buy.Every breakfast enjoyed.Every lunch shared.Every traybake chosen.

It all makes a difference.

When you visit Source, you're not simply buying food and drink.

You are helping create opportunities.

You are helping build confidence.

You are helping young people develop skills, experience and independence.

You are helping write another chapter in somebody's story.

☕❤️ Almost 5 Years of Source… and what a journey it’s been ❤️☕

As we approach 5 years of Source Coffee Shop, we’ve been reflecting on everything this little café has been through.

When we first opened, our hope was never simply to run a coffee shop. We wanted to create a welcoming place with purpose — somewhere people could connect, feel valued, and where young people could be supported through our Re Training & Mentor Programme.

What many people don’t see are the challenges behind the scenes.

Like so many small cafés, the last few years have brought rising costs, changing customer habits, and difficult financial pressures.

There have been many moments where keeping Source going has felt like climbing a very steep hill.
But despite all of that, we’re still here ❤️

And that is because of the incredible support from our community.

Every coffee bought, every lunch shared, every traybake enjoyed, every social media share, and every person who chooses to walk through our doors helps keep Source going.

As a not-for-profit coffee shop, every penny made goes back into helping us continue the work we do and supporting opportunities for others in our community.

We genuinely cannot thank you enough.

To our loyal customers, church family, staff, volunteers, and everyone who has supported us over the last 5 years — thank you for believing in Source and helping us continue this journey.
