🌿💙 A Huge Thank You From Everyone at Lavender Court and Ells Kitchen 💙🌿
What an incredible week it has been!
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, attended, volunteered, provided prizes, and supported our charity fundraising week in aid of Dementia UK.
We are delighted to announce that together we raised an amazing £650!
This was the first time we have run a charity fundraising event over an entire week, and it has been a huge achievement. The support, generosity, and community spirit shown throughout the week exceeded all expectations and made it a truly memorable occasion.
Our fundraising activities included:

🍰 A donated Cake Stall
🎟️ Tombola
🎤 Karaoke
🎙️ A fantastic male vocalist
🎁 Raffle
A special thank you goes to our community, tenants, local businesses, and all of the volunteers who gave their time, donated prizes, and helped throughout the week. We couldn’t have done it without you.
We were also delighted to welcome our CDO from Stairfoot Ward Alliance during the week and greatly appreciate their support.
To top the week off, we were honoured to receive a visit today from the new Mayor of Barnsley, Liam Hardcastle, and Andrew Gillis. It is always a pleasure to welcome you, and we truly appreciate you both taking the time to call in.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed, attended, donated, volunteered, or simply helped spread the word. Together, we have raised vital funds for Dementia UK and shown the true strength of our community.
