🍻 14 Years of The Castle Inn – Thank You, Truly 🍻
On the 12th of May, Sharron and I celebrate 14 years at The Castle Inn.
Fourteen years of running a pub that has seen just about everything life can throw at it — and at us.
We’ve had the good times, the tough times, and the “only at The Castle” times.
We survived Covid together with door‑to‑door dinners, community spirit, and an online disco that Facebook banned more often than we’d like to admit. Apparently we were too entertaining.
In these walls we’ve seen births, losses, marriages, friendships, reunions, and enough stories to fill a book (a book we absolutely cannot publish for legal reasons).
But through it all — every high, every low — you have kept this place alive.
Your support, loyalty, laughter, and love for this pub mean more than we can ever say.
And to our incredible staff, past and present: thank you. You’ve given this place your energy, your care, and your commitment. You’re a huge part of why The Castle Inn is what it is today.
