We would like to tell you about the upcoming event in collaboration with Imad's Syrian Kitchen
And we like to tell you more about Imad
From arriving in the UK as a refugee, starting from zero with nothing but determination and hope,
to launching his first pop-up restaurant in 2017,
Imad has always cooked with purpose — to bring people together.
In 2021, he opened his first permanent restaurant, Imad’s Syrian Kitchen —
a place that quickly became a home for everyone who walked through its doors.
Since then, his incredible journey has been featured by
some of the world’s biggest media outlets —
from BBC’s Saturday Kitchen, to major newspapers, magazines, and TV channels —
all sharing his inspiring story of hope, food, and community.
Imad was honoured by His Majesty the King for his charitable work,
and later even had the privilege of a royal visit to his restaurant —
a moment that deeply moved us all.
Over the years, international awards and food festivals
have celebrated his achievements — recognising not only his culinary talent,
but also his generosity and spirit.
In 2023, he expanded to Kingly Court,
and his cookbook Imad’s Syrian Kitchen became a global success —
a heartfelt collection of recipes and memories that truly reflect who he is.
And now, with the opening of Aram Café & Restaurant at Somerset House,
we’re coming together again for something special:
A Supper Club at Zaytuna on 14 November

cooking, sharing, and celebrating the Syrian flavours and stories that shaped us both.
