I M P O R T A N T N O T I C E ! !

Please be aware that we will be closed THIS EVENING.
We have made the decision to close this evening to allow our staff to support the England team in their semi final match against Argentina. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but we feel after lots of hard work, they all deserve a break and to be able to watch the game.
Food will be served today from 12pm through to about 6pm if required. Rick is there all day and happy to feed you!
The pub will close around 7pm ish to allow people to get home in time.

Just as the heat dies down enough for us to breathe a bit, Sunday rolls around and a roast dinner is a strong possibility!!!
This week has been seriously difficult for our team in the kitchen, but they made it through without keeling over!!!

Rick is in the kitchen as I write this from the beach 😳
He tells me that we have a rare few tables available for tomorrow.

On the menu for roasts tomorrow is:

- Slow roasted topside of Beef
- Slow roasted leg of lamb
- Roast Chicken with stuffing
- Vegan Parcel
- Veggie Sausages

All served with the usual trimmings as well as proper meat gravy (veggie available). GF Options always available.

Non roast options available as per, for those who prefer something different.

It’s a bit blowy out there today!! This time last week, me and the small human were baking in a field at Three Rivers. Today I’m in jeans and a flippin cardie! Not ok.
Anyhoo, after ranting about the weather in a typically English way, here we go with tomorrow’s choices for a much loved traditional English roast dinner at our place…

- Slow roasted pork shoulder with stuffing and crackling
- Slow roasted leg of Lamb
- Roast chicken with stuffing
- Beetroot and butternut parcel (vegan/veggie)

With all the trimmings plus cauli cheese as standard…and proper meat gravy!

We have a few tables left tomorrow for our Sunday Roasts.
I just got off the phone to Rick, who has told me we have:

- Slow roasted leg of Lamb
- Slow roasted Beef
- Roast Chicken with stuffing
- Lamb Wellington
- Steak and Ale pie as a Roast

All served with one of Rick’s humongous Yorkshire puddings, seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese, roasties and proper meat gravy for each meat.

A selection of non roast choices will be available too, so there’s something for all!

After our 6th visit from engineers, we still are having major issues with our internet. You can leave a voicemail and I can access those from our email, but the phone isn’t ringing 😩
