‼️ This Saturday, 6th June, we’ll be running the bar at St Aidan’s Peace Church on Church Street as Roark celebrate the release of their second studio album “Into the Sun”.

Sadly, this means Repas7 By Night will be closed for the Saturday evening, something we haven’t done in the last five years!

If you’re lucky enough to have been invited (it’s a private licensed event with a strict capacity and guest list on the door), doors open at 7PM. We can take both cash and card payments, but we’d recommend bringing cash just in case there are any internet issues.

We’re also looking forward to seeing Jonathan Holmes for his first solo set at 7.20PM, followed by the incredible Coldsville at 8PM before Band.Roark do their thing joined by Colin Steel on trumpet.

So, a little unusually, there’ll be no tapas, no pizza, and Repas7 by night won’t be open — but there will be crisps and plenty of alcohol!

Hope you can make it along, and if not, we’ll see you on Friday 12th June for Sleep Suppressor, with support from The Katz Keys.

🎷 Live this Friday the 5h of June, we welcome back the cool jazz of Met. office to West Street.

A mix of original tunes, reworked standards, and jazz-leaning takes on familiar tracks. There will be tight playing, smooth grooves, and a few left turns along the way. Performing as a trio with bass guitar Tim Skelton + sax, Fliss Elsom-Cook + keys with David McLeish!

As always, we’re open from 5PM with Tapas + 🍕 + 🍸 + 🍹 + 🍻 + 🍷 + 🥃

A couple of unusual points this month: on Saturday the 6th, Repas7 By Night will be closed as we support Roark's album launch at St Aidan's Peace Church. Then on Thursday the 18th, we're opening especially to bring you the exciting touring artist Lorenzo Bonfire, with support from Mark Reid.

As usual, we're open from 5PM with tapas, pizza and cocktails. Tonight's music comes from Nico Gaul, and tomorrow, Saturday the 30th, we welcome the superb Jenny Biddle.

𝗙𝗿𝗶 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 – 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿with support from The Katz Keys

We welcome back the jazz-punk outfit for a night of experimental, improvisational music packed with energy and attitude. Kicking off the night, The Katz Keys bring a set of well-loved covers from the '70s through to today, blending pop standards, jazzy rhythms and strong vocals.

𝗦𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟯𝘁𝗵 – 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱Making their first appearance at Repas7, we let the dogs in for a night of rocking blues.

𝗧𝗵𝘂 𝟭𝟴𝘁𝗵 – 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲with support from Mark Reid

We don't just open for anybody. Lorenzo is a unique talent visiting from Italy as part of a mini North East tour. The last time he played Berwick, he wrote a pretty great song about the town. Supporting him is Mark Reid, one of the best songwriters to emerge from growing up here.

𝗙𝗿𝗶 𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 – 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗲Cover lovers rejoice as we welcome back the brilliant duo. Great vocal harmonies and guitar go very well with tapas, pizza and drinks.

𝗦𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝘁𝗵 – 𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗯 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀It's been too long. The one-man band returns with his matchbox guitar, blues and rock.

𝗙𝗿𝗶 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 – 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁The three-piece featuring Barny Maddox (frontman of Antic Hay) joins us for the first time. Expect Cheviot hillbilly moonshine music, upbeat modern classics with an old-time twist, featuring banjo, bass, guitar and harmonies.

𝗦𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 – 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀with support from Orren Karp

The alternative-rock trio return to Repas7, supported by Orren Karp, a veteran Borders musician bringing a mix of blues, rock and soul classics.

🎶 🎹 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 30𝘁𝗵 🎶 🎸 🇦🇺 🌈

Jenny Biddle rhymes with… “Middle” but she’s anything but middle of the road.

Returning to West Street, brings her unmistakable mix of 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 — plus the occasional keyboard banger — back to 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝘀𝟳 𝗕𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 for her first appearance this year.

Eight albums deep and still fiercely independent, the Australian-born songwriter has built a reputation as a born entertainer, equally capable of making you laugh, cry and wonder how that much sound comes out of one person.

Hopefully you’ll also get to hear one of Jenny’s most notorious songs, 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲 — her much-loved coming out song, packed with heart, humour and Jenny’s signature storytelling.

🎶 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 (29𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘆) we welcome back 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗚aul () to 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝘀𝟳 𝗕𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 — almost five years since we first hosted him here on West Street.

A classically trained and highly regarded acoustic guitarist for over 15 years, Nico began his solo project in 2016, developing the unique finger-picking style that has since taken him across Europe and throughout Scotland. Alongside releases including The Road Book EP, Nico went on to win a 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 during 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 2020.

Blending 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸, 𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗽 influences, Nico brings his own spin to well-known favourites alongside original material and intricate guitar work. Expect 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘁-𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, and a laid-back Friday night soundtrack from one of our favourite returning players.
