The Wheatsheaf Inn was originally built in the 13th century as an Ale House & licensed as a Coaching Inn in the 17th century, serving the Mail Route between Conwy and Chester until 1870. The Inn is situated in the picturesque village of Betws yn Rhos, opposite the famous twin towered church of St. Betws-Yn-Rhos was voted "Best village in Wales 2003" & has a bowling green, tennis courts
& "pay and

play" golf course. The village is a short drive into the country behind Abergele & Colwyn Bay on the
B5381 St.Asaph to Conwy Road. The main features of the Inn are it's splendid oak beams & stone pillars.
