Saturday the 11th of July Feed The Meter will be appearing for a special fundraising gig in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. All the proceeds from the event will go to Prostate Cancer UK.
Classic hit for a great cause 🩵

We Finally Have an Update!!!

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who has donated to this amazing cause. We reached the £1,500 target in just 24 hours, which is absolutely incredible and only possible because of the amazing Pally family and friends.

The laptop has now been recovered after being found tucked behind a bin on Bideford Quay, We can't thank the police enough for all of their help and support throughout this situation.

Unfortunately, Lizzie's iPad is still missing. Alongside that, she has suffered a loss of earnings over the last few days and has understandably been dealing with a huge amount of stress and anxiety. Because of this, we feel it is only right that we replace the iPad and leave it up to Lizzie how the remaining funds are used.

If anyone who has donated has any thoughts or suggestions regarding the remaining funds, please let me know (Ben)

We are raising funds to help replace Lizzie's laptop and iPad, which were stolen during The Palladium Club Jam Night on Tuesday 16th June 2026.

Lizzie runs our popular jam nights and also delivers her vocal coaching sessions from The Palladium Club. The theft has had a significant impact, as the bag that was taken contained not only her Apple MacBook and iPad, but also lesson plans, her DBS certificate, and important paperwork relating to future community music projects.

Anyone involved in the local music scene will know how much Lizzie does for musicians across Bideford and North Devon. She gives her time, energy, and expertise to help others develop their confidence and talent, and she is a valued part of our music community.

This fundraiser is our way of showing our appreciation and helping her get back on her feet by covering the cost of replacing the equipment she relies on for her work and community projects.

Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shared my post, sent messages, and helped today after my bag was stolen. I've been completely overwhelmed by the kindness and support from our community 🖤
Unfortunately, my bag still hasn't been found, and I'm holding onto hope that it may still turn up somewhere. While the laptop and iPad inside can eventually be replaced, what has hit me hardest is the loss of my of lesson plans, teaching resources, exercises, notes, and ideas It wasn't just paperwork it represented countless hours of learning, training, teaching, and supporting my students.
Also in the bag were my DBS certificate, vocal coaching resources, event posters, and materials for upcoming projects. These things are deeply connected to the work I do every day and mean a great deal to me.
If anyone comes across a discarded bag, folder, posters, or teaching materials, no matter where, I would be incredibly grateful if you could get in touch. At this point, those personal would mean the world.
Thank you again to everyone who offered support. It's been a really difficult day, but your kindness has reminded me how lucky I am to be part of such a caring Pally community. ❤️
