Good Morning Dhalings 💚

We had every intention of today being our last service at but we hadn't anticipated just how busy we would be yesterday.

We literally sold out of EVERYTHING 😱 and it wouldn't be fair on our team to restock and prep the kitchen just for one day.

So, many apologies if you were hoping to place an for this evening.

Our take away and collection service is now closed for the foreseeable.

Imagine having a child and sending them off to school every single day only for them to be bullied and picked on by a different bully every day.

Well thats what it feels like having a new independent food business in the current economic climate right now.

To best protect our baby, we've decided to pull them out of harms way.

We can no longer fight against these never ending obstacles being put in our way.

We are ready to bring Dhalings back when it is the right time for us.

Today we are celebrating the infamous Kadhai 🤌🏽

In Hindi 'Kadhai' means wok, and in our kitchen, our wok is our pride and joy ☺️

This dish actually makes us so happy we could 'Kadhai'. It's the most comforting and soothing curries of all.

Chunks of plant based chickenless, onions and mixed peppers stir fried in a robustly spiced Kadhai sauce.

Garnished with ginger julienne, fried garlic, sliced chillies and coriander.

Introducing the newest member to our Dhaling family 😍

Our Butter-less Chick’n 💛

Paying homage to the bustling streets of Delhi, our ‘Butter-less Chick’n’ is rich, silky, fragrant & super satisfying 😋

We gently toss tikka marinated, charred chunks of ‘chick’n’ into our signature, aromatic, ‘butter-less’ sauce, which is simmered gently for hours.

As per tradition, we layer this sauce with generous amounts of butter, (plant based butter in our kitchen 🙂), and finish with a gentle sprinkle of Garam Masala and dried Fenugreek 👌🏽

| THE GREAT BRITISH CURRY CRISIS | 

‘Every week, two Indian restaurants are shutting down as the pandemic, changing consumer tastes, and Brexit takes a toll.’

Our founder recently had the pleasure to be featured in this insightful and educational piece with of to talk about the current Great British Curry Crisis, and also to share her experience(s) of how and what she's doing to proactively keep Indian cuisine alive in the UK in a sustainable way.

Sustainable not only for our business, but most importantly, for the planet too. 

Whilst curry houses may be in decline, the British food service sector is currently welcoming the rise of cloud kitchens, also known as ghost or dark kitchens.

For the last few years, it’s clear to see that the food delivery market has exploded exponentially and the pandemic has certainly sped this along. 

The rise of cloud kitchens allows chefs and business owners like ourselves to launch our dream business with just a quarter of the start-up costs than if we were to open a traditional restaurant. 

By launching as a cloud kitchen before opening a restaurant, we have been able to focus solely on executing a strong menu from a well functioning and operating kitchen space.
