The final day of Royal Ascot is here, and we’re bringing all the glamour, excitement and racing action to The Great Western and The Little Western this Saturday!

Join us for an afternoon of fabulous racing, great company, delicious food and perhaps a little people-watching worthy of Ascot itself…

🏇 Live coverage of all the racing throughout the afternoon

Now, when it comes to dress code…

You can arrive looking ready for the Royal Enclosure, complete with fabulous hat and glamorous outfit…

Or you can arrive looking more like Shane and opt for your favourite jeans and T-shirt!

There are absolutely no rules, but there is a little bit of fun…

🏆 Our “Dressed to Impress” winner will take home a £100 Great Western Gift Voucher.

Whether it’s a spectacular Ascot hat, a sharp suit, a summer dress, your favourite fancy frock or simply an outfit that makes you feel fantastic, our judge will be keeping a close eye on proceedings.

Most importantly, gather your friends, gather your family, enjoy a glass of fizz, tuck into some strawberries and cream, grab a pizza, back a few winners and spend a glorious Saturday afternoon with us.

🎩🍓🏇 ROYAL ASCOT AT THE GREAT WESTERN 🏇🍓🎩

This Saturday we’re bringing a little bit of Ascot glamour to Deppers Bridge!

Join us in The Little Western where we’ll be showing all the live racing throughout the day. Grab a Racing Post, settle in with friends, enjoy a pizza, sip on something bubbly and indulge in the timeless Ascot favourite… strawberries and cream! 🍓🥂

We’ve also created a fabulous Ascot Selfie Station so you can capture those all-important Instagram-worthy moments with friends and family. 📸✨

And before you start panicking about dress codes… don’t! This is The Great Western after all. You absolutely do not need to dust off the designer wardrobe. Come as you are, whether that’s a full Ascot ensemble, a spectacular hat, a fancy-dress masterpiece, or simply your favourite jeans and a smile.

That said… there is a little friendly competition! 👒🎩

We’ll be awarding a £100 Great Western Gift Voucher to the person we crown Best Dressed on the Day. Whether it’s elegance, creativity, humour or sheer confidence that catches our eye, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

GCSEs. A-Levels. Revision. Exams. Stress. Repeat. 📚☕😴…. You’re nearly there gang !

Parents, guardians, Nanas, Grandads, Aunties, Uncles and all of the brilliant cheerleading network supporting our young people right now… give yourselves a break.

And students, give yourselves one too.

The exams are underway, or done if nearly over ! you’ve all been working incredibly hard, and everyone deserves a couple of hours away from revision timetables, flashcards and past papers.

Let us do the cooking tonight.

The sun is shining, the burgers are sizzling, the fish is frying, the coffee is flowing and the gardens are looking glorious. 🌞🍔🐟☕

Come down, relax, switch off for a little while, enjoy some good food and good company, then head back to the books feeling refreshed and recharged.

You can still get to The Great Western for your morning coffee, your lunchtime meet-ups, afternoon snacks, evening meals, pizzas, pints and all-round good times! 🚂🍕🍺
The road remains OPEN from both Bishop’s Itchington and Harbury.
If you’re heading to us from Southam or travelling in the Southam direction, simply take the route via Harbury and you’ll be with us in no time.
We’re very much OPEN AS USUAL and ready to welcome you with a smile, great food, great drinks and the hospitality you’ve come to expect. ❤️

Community. Kindness. Togetherness. ❤️…
Earlier this year we began raising funds for Myton Hospice through our Easter celebrations and our Moonlight Walk from Warwick Castle. Most recently, you all joined in at the Harbury Carnival — and thank you for quite literally lobbing coins at us along the procession route! 🥰😂🎪🤠
Every penny lobbed has been pledged to the Harbury Carnival 🎪 fund and we have matched and doubled that and added to our ever-growing collection, which we’ll proudly donate as part of our Bank Holiday celebrations and our first birthday at The Great Western. 🍻🚂

This fundraising journey was inspired by the loss of a much-loved young woman. It has been incredibly moving to see a community come together for a cause that touches so many families.

Looking forward we have so many reasons to be grateful…. So many reasons to come together.

To everyone who has donated, danced, supported, walked, cheered, laughed, and helped along the way — thank you. This is what community looks like. ❤️
