📚🐾 A Story Begins… And A Chapter Closes 🐾📚

This Saturday, we’ll be celebrating the launch of Dudley & Boris: The Wild Adventure in Wilderswood by local author Fiona Fahlin.

Inspired by the real-life adventures of two much-loved Pike dogs, the book tells the story of friendship, loyalty and adventure through the eyes of Dudley and Boris.

📖 Fiona will be with us from 10am–3pm signing copies.
💷 Books are just £6.99.
☕ Every book purchased includes a FREE hot drink voucher.
❤️ 10% of all book sales will be donated to Blue Cross.

At 1.30pm, the day will become even more special as we plant a memorial tree and lay Dudley’s ashes to rest beneath it.

When we announced Dudley’s passing in January, over 47,000 people viewed the post, generating more than 1,400 interactions and over 500 messages of support. It was a reminder that Dudley wasn’t just our dog — he belonged to the wider Rivington community too.

For almost 15 years, he greeted walkers, posed for photos, supervised pasty deliveries and left paw prints on thousands of hearts.

We’d love anyone who knew Dudley, followed his adventures, or simply wants to support Fiona’s wonderful book and Blue Cross, to join us.
