Evelyn's Bakery are hiring!

Position 1: CLOSED

Position 2: Bakery Assistant
16 hours varying between 630am-5pm Monday-Saturday
National Minimum Wage
No experience necessary as full training provided.
Immediate start

Duties include making our fresh filled rolls, quiches and salad bowls. Restocking the sandwich prep ready for the next day. Must be confident and chatty serving our customers in the shop front. If all is quiet in the shop then you will be helping in the bakery to bake, decorate cookies, slice brownies, pack orders etc and general cleaning duties.

Position 3: Part Time Bakery Supervisor
16 hours varying between 630am-5pm Monday-Saturday
We require some previous experience of supervisory positions.
Pay dependant on experience
To begin September

All duties as above plus the supervision of staff on shift. You will make sure everyone is delegated jobs to do in order of priority. Also answering phones, taking orders and editing stock levels on the website. More hours may become available during event periods and if we can sustain growth.

All positions require the following.
️❌️ No mobile phones
❌️ No jewellery
❌️ No nail polish and/or false nails
❌️ Hair must be tied up. If working with food you must wear a hair net.

✅️ References will be required
✅️ 3 month trial period for us and for you to see if you like it.
✅️ Aprons provided
✅️ T shirt provided (once trial period ends)
✅️ 50% discount on counter cakes for yourselves only

Wow what a day!

Thankyou for everyone coming to support this amazing Strongman event in town today it was very well supported. Shame some of you couldn't make it though due to the roadworks.

Don't forget we open tomorrow 730-3 for freshly filled rolls, salad bowls, cakes, desserts, coffee....
