We’re down to the final four & for the first time ever the top 4 ranked teams have taken the semi final spots. Tonight from 8 we’ll be showing the top two teams battle it out for a place in the final, this should be one hell of a game.

It’s heating up out there & we’ll have the garden & indoor screens showing the game with sound so stroll on down & enjoy a cold drink while watching a classic.

Quick important note about Sunday……

We will not be able to confirm any tables for the World Cup final until after both semi finals have finished.

We will then work our way through the list of enquiries and confirm tables on Thursday afternoon.

We will then post on here if we have any space left.

It is looking like we may already be fully booked (although I imagine if it goes a certain way some space may open up 😂) but you are welcome to message/email and you’ll be added to the list in time order.

There is some bench seating around the tree & the stools inside for walk ins but likely that will be gone early. Get down early for the best standing room views. Big day of great sport today. We’ve got the Wimbledon men’s semis in the afternoon with British wildcard Arthur Fery looking to take his incredible run all the way to the final & then a clash of the titans with Sinner Vs Djokovic.

Tonight sees World Cup quarter final action with Spain vs Belgium battling it out at 8pm to join France in the last 4.

We’ll have all the action live inside & in the garden so take the afternoon off & come sit in the shade & enjoy the sport.

It’s quarter final time & things are getting serious. 8 teams left, every single one of them dreaming about wining the World Cup. Some great matches coming up & these are the ones we are showing inside & out in The Shipyard; starting with tonight’s absolute cracker France vs Morocco at 9pm. The first real test of this French team who are most people’s favourites, come & relax in the garden away from the heat & watch along.

And just to be clear re the football, because I see the usual arseholes are stirring it up again to be divisive. We chose not to stay open for it as just wouldn’t work for us or our team. So sick of pubs being used by these morons for point scoring.

We’ve known since the World Cup draw that this was a potential fixture & if we wanted to we could have applied for a TENS licence (a quick and easy process) and opened for it. In all probability the opening hours will get extended automatically as usual when this sort of thing happens. These grifters really will use anything to stir it up, just surprised they haven’t blamed immigrants.

Unfortunately as we are in a residential area, wouldn’t be able to use the garden & don’t want to ask our team to work till potentially 5 in the morning we won’t be showing the game. It’s going to be one hell of a tough challenge & I’ll be cheering them on from my sofa. Germany gone. Holland gone. Two penalty shootouts & two injury time winners so far in the knockout stages. Hopefully our two biggest stars will hit the heights to make it a bit smoother for England but when is it ever easy?
