☀️ KITCHEN UPDATE – THURSDAY ☀️

Following another review of the temperatures, we've made the decision to keep our kitchen closed today.

The safety and wellbeing of our kitchen team remains our priority, and with today's heat we're simply not prepared to ask them to work in those conditions.

🥪 The good news... We have a selection of freshly made rolls and salad pots available to purchase from behind the bar, so if you're after a light bite, we've got you covered!

🍺 The bar is open as normal, and our air conditioning is keeping the main pub nice and cool, so if you're looking to escape the heat, come in and enjoy a refreshing drink with us.

Thank you all for your understanding and the incredible support you've shown over the last 24 hours. It's been very much appreciated by the whole team. ❤️

We'll be back to normal service as soon as it's safe to do so. Stay cool, everyone! 🥵➡️❄️🍻

❤️ A MESSAGE FROM THE CORNHILL TEAM ❤️

We hate having to do this, but due to the extreme temperatures in our kitchen, we will be closing food service from 2pm today.

Anyone who has stepped into our kitchen recently will know just how hot it gets, and with today's temperatures it's simply not fair or safe to expect our team to continue working in those conditions.

We'll be monitoring the situation day by day and will make a decision each morning on whether the kitchen can open and, if so, for what hours.

The good news is that our air conditioning in the main pub is working perfectly 😎❄️ so if you're looking to escape the heat, grab a cold drink and cool down, we'll still be open and ready to welcome you.

Running a small independent pub certainly keeps us on our toes, but the welfare of our team has to come first.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. It really does mean the world to us. ❤️
