The weekend starts here!! We have, as well as the Charity Meat Draw at 6:00pm on Friday, some of the most anticipated new to us bands this weekend.
Circus Of Thieves are a high-energy pop punk and alternative rock covers band from Weymouth, Dorset, ready to transport you on a nostalgic trip through the iconic sounds of the 80s to the 00s. Female-fronted and fiercely dynamic, this band puts the punk into pop and beyond, delivering a lively, unforgettable performance that keeps audiences on their feet.
Known for their electrifying renditions of pop punk classics, Circus of Thieves cover hits from legendary artists like Green Day, Blink-182, Sum 41, Bowling for Soup, and Blondie. But they don’t stop there—they take well-known pop songs and inject them with their own punk-infused energy, reimagining favourites like Kids in America, Hey Mickey, Don’t Look Back in Anger, and 99 Red Balloons.

On Saturday we have one of the finest bands on the south coast, Skabba, so this is a call-out for all Dancing Queens, Honey Honeys, Rudys and Gangsters!

You’ll be screaming Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! one more song (and trust us they always deliver, no SOS required).
Skinheads and Fernandos alike will be falling Head Over Heels as infectious rhythms, soaring harmonies and irresistible grooves transform pop perfection into full-throttle ska anthems.
And it’s not just the songs, it’s the show…
SKA MEETS ABBA are renowned for their explosive live performances, packed dance floors and crowd-singing moments that turn every gig into a party. They well and truly stole the show at the last Frome 80s Fest, leaving audiences buzzing and begging for more.

Sunday sees two fave musicians in Mutter and Clive take the stage at 4:00pm. Mutter Slater was the front man and flute player for the 70’s cult band Stackridge (produced by George Martin, signed by Elton John): a group that established itself as a firm favourite on countless stages throughout the land and appeared regularly on BBC TV’s The Old Grey Whistle Test and John Peel’s radio programmes.
