Grilled Iberico Pork Abanico, 100% acorn fed pork skirt, parsnip purée & watercress.

Watercress & Pea Gnocchi, pea cream, fresh ricotta & toasted hazelnuts.

Charred Chermoula Aubergine, with Muhammara and pomegranate mojo.

And because sharing is encouraged...

House Bruschetta, beef tomatoes, asparagus & stracciatella on toasted focaccia.

Seasonal Arancini with garlic aioli, this week’s filling is squash and chilli.

We’ve got the projector up on the stage and every England game showing live. The perfect excuse to gather your mates, claim a table and settle in for all the drama.

Come down early and make an evening of it.

The menu is made for match days:

✶ or a pizza to line the beer before kick off

Heading to a kids show? Leave the packed lunch at home, we’ll take care of it.

Our kids menu is all about simple favourites that actually get eaten!

•Chicken goujons with homemade chips

•9” pizzas Margherita, mushroom or pepperoni, with vegan or gluten free options available on request

•Pasta marinara rigatoni with tomato sauce

For dessert, something a bit special!

•Ice cream sundae chocolate or vanilla topped with whipped cream and sprinkles

•Swoon ice cream: vanilla, chocolate brownie or salted caramel

Swoon sorbet : pistachio or raspberry

Golden hour pours onto the terrace every evening — full suntrap if you want to bask dramatically with a cocktail in hand, or shaded tables under the canopy for slower evenings and excellent people-watching.

The summer menu is made for ordering “just a couple of bits” and somehow staying all night:

✶ watercress & pea gnocchi with bright pea cream, ricotta + toasted hazelnuts

✶ seasonal vegetables with lemon + chilli, sharp, sunny and made for warm evenings

✶ rich chocolate ganache cake with berries and cherry-soaked almond biscuit

Topside of beef, roasted pork belly, roasted chicken leg, slow roasted lamb shoulder, Wellington with pearl barley squash and celeriac, or the nut roast with walnut hazelnut and lentil.

All served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshires, seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese, and proper gravy.

Sides if you fancy pushing things further.

Cauliflower cheese vgo and gfo, sausage stuffing, sage and cranberry stuffing, and pigs in blankets.

Not essential, just highly persuasive once they arrive.

Charlie Chaplin 🍸

The Charlie Chaplin cocktail was created in 1920s New York as a playful tribute to the actor at the peak of his fame.

At the Old Market Assembly, our long running collaboration with the Wardrobe Theatre has welcomed countless incredible actors through our doors, each stepping into the spotlight and raising a glass to the art of performance.

This mix of lime juice, apricot, and sloe gin is as surprising and delightful as Chaplin himself.

Classic, cheeky, and worthy of a bow behind red velvet curtains.
