Our hospitality industry is under immense pressure.
Between skyrocketing energy costs, rising food prices, and wage inflation, the local pubs, cafes, and restaurants that keep our communities alive are facing a fight for survival.
Right now, the UK has the second-highest hospitality VAT in Europe at 20%. Meanwhile, countries like France, Spain, and Italy support their venues with a fair 10% rate.
