♥️♥️♥️

🎅 At Christmas choosing to shop local in Broughty Ferry means so much more than ticking gifts off a list 🎁

It means supporting local jobs during the busiest — and most pressured — time of year for independent businesses. It helps keep our high street full of life, our lights shining bright, and our community events possible ✨

Local businesses don’t just sell things. They sponsor lights nights, gala days and school events, support local charities, and employ local people. When you shop local at Christmas, you’re helping all of that continue into the new year ❤️

We know it’s not always possible to buy everything locally — and that’s ok. But where you can, even one gift, one coffee, one meal makes a real difference.

This Christmas, give a gift that gives back 🎄
Support local. Support your community.

Tomorrow is the last day to go along and see this fantastic Lego exhibition and all for such a great cause supporting Broughty Ferry Lifeboat - RNLI ♥️

Only one day left to go on what has been an amazing couple of weeks- but there's still time to get along to view the models tomorrow before we pack it all up!

Boatshed Bricks raises funds for the lifeboats in Scotland. Relying on donations of preloved bricks to help save lives on our shores. If you've been inspired by the exhibition please do show us your photos or lego builds if you've been inspired but this event.

We had the pleasure of dropping Lego off for BoatShed Bricks yesterday. They run an exhibition in the summer holidays to raise funds for the RNLI. We dropped the Lego off at Broughty Ferry Lifeboat - RNLI shop in Fort Street opposite the Fisherman's Tavern in St. James church. The shop is lovely. Next time you're passing pop in. It's open Wednesday to Sunday 11-3 ♥️ Visit Broughty Ferry

A huge thanks to Murrays Fish an Chip shop staff for an incredible donation of Lego today. Christmas has come early! This Lego will soon be put to good use as part of our next Broughty Ferry exhibition which will be held in the summer holidays!

The Boatshed Bricks exhibition started in Broughty Ferry as a fundraiser for the RNLI lifeboat services in this area. It relies entirely on donations of preloved Lego bricks to generate much needed funds to save lives on our shores. If you have any spare Lego -please do consider donating them to us! Donations can be dropped off at the RNLI shop in Fort Street. If you’d like to support us in other ways then please do share our posts on facebook and Instagram and spread the word! .
