*** What a cracking night at the oche! 🎯 ***

Last night our darts team welcomed the Bull and Butcher from Akeley to the board, brand new to the competition this season and a brilliant addition.

Extra special for us: The Bull and Butcher is run by two former Padbury residents, Pam and Shane, so this wasn't just a match, it was a reunion. Shane even took a rare night off to come and watch.

Played in the best of spirits from start to finish, with the wonderful Gary captaining the team. New friendships forged over the oche, and quietly, the Blackbird pulled off the win on the night.

If you haven't been to see Pam and Shane yet, please do so. They took over the Bull and Butcher at Easter 2025 and have turned it into a proper gem: great pub, warm welcome, and one of the loveliest beer gardens around.
