Just to clear up anymore confusion regarding the use of our CCTV and venue
Today we have been informed that The brewery has received a number of complaints regarding the running of this establishment!
Miss use of licence ?
Miss use of CCTV ?
And me verbally tarnishing the brewery online regarding the Horns pub....But this isn't anything to do with White swan and certainly nothing I haven't said to brewery directly to their face they destroyed a workforce after 6 hard years.
However it seams some people have more faces than a pack of dices !!!
My sister has passed away so I'm back in the UK from 6th August so feel free to call in arrange a chat we can discuss any concerns you may have as a customer!
Myself and Mike have run successful venues for years , As tenants in a fixed agreement with our brewery we are allowed to run this establishment how we see fit this is not a managed house pub. And often having 3 pubs at same time !
Chit chat of how someone would run the venue different, Would have the pick of our staff for their pub ! Why are the world cup team flags still up for all the teams that have gone out !
The pathetic comments continue.
We have CCTV legally within our venue for customers safety and staff...In all the years here we have never had any trouble never any call out to police!
We took this venue on despite the bad reputation, We got rid of the drugs , We added amazing beers , Great entertainment great sports but most importantly OUR MONEY
So I'm telling whatever pathetic individuals that have an issue then I'm sorry but we are going nowhere anytime soon
CCTV UPDATE......
Yes as a boss we can legally watch our workforce on CCTV in common work areas like bar , pool room and darts room , To monitor security and performance. However, cameras are strictly prohibited in private spaces such as toilets.
The legality of constant or unannounced surveillance depends heavily on your specific location and local labor laws to which I have both covered
As an owner we can legally share CCTV images and footage with our manager Sam Raybould but only if the manager needs to view it for a specific, legitimate business purpose (such as investigating a workplace incident , Ensuring site security, or addressing a disciplinary issue).
Sharing it casually is a violation of privacy and data protection laws
Because CCTV footage containing identifiable individuals is legally classified as personal data, both me as an owner and the manager Sam handled the images according to strict guidelines:
Legitimate Purpose: The reason for viewing the footage must align exactly with why the cameras were originally installed.Access Limitation: Access is restricted to authorized individuals eg: Dawn, Mike and Sam .
The manager Sam is designated as someone who requires this access, rather than giving unrestricted privileges to everyone on the team.
No Public Sharing: Footage must never be posted on social media or shared outside of the business, except to law enforcement.
If you want to ensure our specific situation is compliant, What is the primary reason the manager needs to view the footage (e.g.Theft investigation, staff monitoring, Alcoholconsumption)
I can help clarify the specific local laws and requirements if you call in and see me.
LICENCE
As I'm currently still a UK Citizen Sam is trading under my licence and his licence is now completed and just awaiting his paperwork and certificate to send off.
Myself and Mike won't tolerate any more for people who think they know best
Maybe stop putting your money in our till and pop it in someone else's if not happy how we do things or maybe like most customers enjoy a pub that run well,
But for now have some respect and allow we to grieve inpeace for my sister....
