Sitting in landscaped gardens immediately above Mill Beck, the self-catering apartments are tastefully designed and furnished, offering an exceptional standard of accommodation for walking and family holidays. The apartments all enjoy the same stunning views of Haystacks and the Buttermere Round (Red Pike, High Stile and High Crag). They are south facing so

capture much of the day´s sunshine through the large windows in the living area - which either lead onto your private patio area or balcony. The apartments, recently refurbished, have well proportioned kitchens that are equipped with most modern day appliances. Each apartment has electric central heating, direct dial telephone, Televisions with Freesat and DVD player. There is ample space for storage of your belongings and for the parking of cars. Guests are kindly requested not to smoke in the apartments.

Well, this wonderful review just made our day! We always appreciate positive feedback about our rooms, and our food, but it’s the high praise for our fabulous team that really means the most. They really are the best! 💕

We have a couple of tables available in the A La Carte restaurant this evening (call or email to book) and we’re offering one night stays in the hotel too! See our website for all availability and to make a reservation.

The bar’s open for food and drinks from 12pm, no reservation required - muddy boots 🥾 and paws 🐾 welcome.

“The Bridge continues to be a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are very comfy, exceptionally clean & with all the little touches that make it feel special. The bar menu is excellent & very well cooked & presented We ate in the slightly more formal restaurant on 2 evenings & the food was genuinely exceptional - all credit to Head Chef Lauren The breakfasts were also very good - I believe that it was a new younger breakfast Chef sharing the duties & he was also superb - perfect scrambled eggs which is always a good way to rate a breakfast chef! In addition, Ray, Shaun, Nicky & Henry are wonderful ambassadors for the Bridge - you are treated with such care & made to feel like friends of the Bridge family. We cannot rate it highly enough PS we were there in a heatwave & despite ridiculously hot conditions for all the staff to work in they continued to be first class. Thank you!!”
