Wozzers... what a day! ❤️

I was down at the van from 6:30am this morning as I had a few pre-orders booked in.

I officially open at 9am, but if you need food earlier, I'm more than happy to open up for you – just drop me a message the day before and I will be there 😊 The industrial estate seems really quiet before 9am, so I'm happy to work around you.

Today started off busy... then just got busier! 🥰 Thank you all so much. I honestly appreciate every single person who stops by.

General feedback today was that no one really fancied curry, so I've listened! Instead, I've added something new...

🌶️ NEW Spicy Cheese Burger – £7.50
Choose either:
🍔 Single Beef Patty or
🍗 Plain Crispy Chicken Burger

Topped with spicy cheese, jalapeños, lettuce and mayo. I trialled these today with some of my regulars and they all said it was a hit! 😍 Once they're gone, they're gone!

Wow... what a day! ❤️

You guys just keep making me busier and busier, and I'm not going to lie... I might need ANOTHER pair of hands soon! 🥹

Today you completely sold me out of rump steak, Tuna Mayo and Moroccan Lamb Burgers. By the time I closed, I only had three bread rolls left - the anxiety of running out was killing me !

With that in mind, I stayed at The Yard until 6pm doing a full deep clean and restocking, ready for another busy day tomorrow. Fresh bread will be delivered first thing in the morning, and Mark's Butchers over the road will have me stocked up and ready to go. 💪

A little reminder... please help yourselves to ice-cold water from my water machine - I'll keep it topped up throughout the day. 🧊💧

I've also been told I don't advertise my coffee enough! ☕😂

YAY... I'm back tomorrow guys ! ❤️

I'm looking forward to seeing you all again tomorrow. I've got a few tasty specials on this week, alongside all the usual favourites. 🍔🥓🥗 and i'm going to trial a new idea tomorrow, so there will be samples for you to try.

Some exciting news... My new menu has finally been confirmed for print! 🎉 I honestly can't wait, It looks so much more professional with my own personal touch and best of all... no more bad handwriting on my specials boards! 😂 (If you know... you know!)

I've also teamed up with another fantastic local business, and we're working on something a little bit special. 🤫 I can't say too much just yet, but keep your eyes peeled.

🍛 Curry lovers... if you'd like curry this week, let me know your preference tomorrow. I always try my best to make what you want, your feedback really helps me. Happy to make something different, just holla.

With the weather looking set to be hot again ☀️, I'll be preparing fresh salads every morning if you don't fancy hot food. My fresh sub rolls will be available all week. I'll also have my ice water machine ready, plenty of chilled drinks, and of course free ice pops to help keep everyone cool. ❤️ Don't forget we offer iced lattes too.

What a lovely day it’s been today meeting new customers who told me they’ve been following my Facebook and social media.

What I love most about this new job of mine, isn’t just delivering the food… it’s seeing people from all walks of life sitting outside in the sunshine, all chatting together. Office workers, dog walkers, families, couples, friends — young and old alike — all just enjoying the moment.

There’s something really special about that, and I feel so lucky to be able to create a little space where people can come together. It makes me sooooo happy ❤️

Sandra is a valued member of our Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) team, bringing an incredible 39 years of gynaecology experience to her role. After retiring, she returned 5 and a half years ago because of one simple reason - she loves the job. 💙

Her passion lies in supporting patients through some of their most difficult moments, providing compassionate, hands-on care when it matters most.

Sandra plays a key role in early pregnancy care, supporting patients with viability scans (6–14 weeks) and guiding them through their journey with kindness and understanding. She also provides vital emotional support, including counselling and follow-up care for those experiencing loss.

🤝 What makes Sandra special is her commitment to including partners and families, ensuring no one feels alone during challenging times.

Today was absolutely mental! 🥵🔥

I went down to start prep at 6:45am, and the orders started coming in almost straight away — and they didn’t stop all day. I really hope everyone was happy with their food and service ❤️

We don’t usually open until 9am and normally close at 2pm, but today was non-stop from 7am right through until 3:30pm, when we finally closed.

The temperature inside the van reached a crazy 48.9°C 🌡️🔥

Even with the heat, I made sure my staff were looked after with plenty of breaks, multiple fans, unlimited drinks, and I also bought an ice and water dispenser for both the team and our customers.

At times, because of the sheer volume of orders, service wasn’t as quick as I would have liked. Combined with the extreme heat, it made things even more challenging, so I can only apologise if anyone had a longer wait than usual.

Thank you all so much for your patience.

We’re back open tomorrow from 9am-1pm

I’m really sorry, but I’ve completely run out of wraps. Unfortunately, the ones I can source locally aren’t big enough for the portions I like to serve, so wraps will be unavailable tomorrow.

Instead, I’ll have a limited number of breakfast muffins available 👀

A customer asked for BBQ loaded fries with mushrooms and sliced sausage today, and to be fair… it looked absolutely scrumptious 🤤

Today was absolutely brutal with the heat 🥵☀️, inside my little box van, the temperature reached 48.2 degrees. We made sure we stayed open for you and we loved seeing so many of you stop by and support us — thank you so much ❤️

We’ll be back open tomorrow from 9am and ready to do it all again.

I’ve got a few portions of loaded rump steak fries left for anyone who missed out today 👀 This is served with a spicy peppercorn sauce, with or without mushrooms. Steak won't be on next week so the last chance to enjoy. ( i'm going to try something else, keep your eyes peeled )

Another day working in extreme heat! ☀️🔥

We stayed open until 2:15pm today, and we fully intend to keep doing our best to stay open until then for the rest of the week.

With the heat in mind, I’ve decided to swap out our usual curry and launch something new…
