We are an independent Sicilian café, based in the heart of Cambridge, serving up authentic sourdough pizza, focaccia, arancini, a selection of cakes and artisan gelato.

Cotto Focaccia. The Sicilian Way.

We start with dough we make in-house and rest for 2 days. Then we layer on ham, mozzarella, tomato sauce and oregano that come straight from Sicily.

It’s the kind of baking that takes time, but that’s what makes it taste like home.

While we’ve been sleeping, our dough has been hard at work.

Simple, quality ingredients slowly ferment over 48 hours to develop the flavour and texture that make our pizzas special. Then we hand-knead and carefully shape into dough balls, ready for the next stage of the journey.

Behind every bite is the craft.

From 5am, our cannoli are hand-filled, dough is freshly rolled, pizzas are topped, spianata are baked to golden, and cornetto are out of the oven and filled.

Cambridge in the sun ☀️🍨

Seeing the city full of people soaking up the sunshine and spending time with family and friends is such a joy.

A huge shoutout to our incredible team who are working tirelessly through the heat to keep the food flowing. Safe to say the gelato is going down especially well.

These photos may not show the finished picture just yet, but we’re working hard to transform this space into a little slice of Sicily and there’s still plenty to do!

The most common question in our DMs at the moment is about the opening, and although we can’t give an exact date just yet, we’re aiming for the end of June/beginning of July.

It’ll be here before we know it, and we can’t wait to welcome you all.

How our pizza slices start off...

We believe in keeping things simple. Our Sicilian sourdough is made with just a few ingredients: flour, water, Sicilian sea salt, and our starter. We slowly ferment this mix to bring out its natural flavour. Once it’s ready, we shape it with care, drizzle it with some extra virgin olive oil, and slather on rich tomato sauce made from our family recipe before it bakes in our ovens.

This process gives it that deep, delicious flavour and the perfect airy bite we’re so proud of. Then it’s on to the toppings!
