And that’s it for us! End of an era!

Thank you to all our customers over the years and thank you to all the people who have brought gift and come to wish us well. We are all truly humbled. Thank you to all our staff, we certainly all became a little family.

We hope and wish you all a Merry Christmas and wish you all the best for 2026!

Thank you once again for all your support over the years. Longford Fish Bar and all the elements that made it what it was will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Our dearest customers. After almost 20 years of trading at Longford Fish Bar, it is after much consideration and with a heavy heart we inform you the 24th December 2025 (Christmas Eve) will be our (Sal’s) last day of trading.

To you, our dearest customers. Over the years we have traded at Longford Fish Bar, you have been the centre and focus of our business. We have never taken your custom for granted and have striven to ensure you have felt valued at all time as we understand you coming to us is a choice you make and it is not a given. We will all certainly miss seeing you all and having the conversations we do. However, your compassion and loyalty will never be forgotten. You have all truly made Longford Fish Bar what it is today.

To our past and certainly to our present members of staff. Your dedication and devotion to Longford Fish Bar has been the best any employer could ever wish for. Without you all, we would not have been able to get through some of tough times we have experienced but equally the good times have made some of the best memories which makes us all like a family. We shall forever be truly grateful to you all because without you, we would not have been able to achieve what we have.

We understand the owners of the shop are planning to carry on trading at Longford Fish Bar. However, we shall continue to serve you all with all our appreciation up until Christmas Eve. So between now and then, come along and see us before we close the doors for one final time.

Longford Fish Bar, with all the elements that makes it what it is, will forever be remembered in the depths of our hearts and we thank you all sincerely. ❤️🧿

I’ve got to give it to the staff they’ve exceeded my expectations once again. Huge effort made for Halloween and lots of sweet bags given out to the kids, well done to you all.

We are open as normal on Good Friday and Saturday (19th April). We will be closed on Easter Monday and back open as normal on Tuesday (22nd April).

Good morning all, I am pleased to announce that Longford will be open as normal today. We have worked hard from the early hours of this morning to be able to fix our breakdown from last night.
We will be serving our loyal customers from 12 noon onwards, thank you for your understanding & support as always.

It is with great regret to announce that LONGFORD FISH BAR IS CLOSED !
This is due to a mechanical fault on the fryers which we are trying to fix as a matter of urgency. Please accept our apologies and we hope to be back up and running as soon as we physically can.

We are so sorry to all the customers who were trying to place orders through Just Eat tonight. This is the message we received not long after opening up for our tea time shift.

There are currently technical issues with our website and app. We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience whilst we fix this.

Unfortunately it took quite a while until they fixed thier technical issues but we back on line after 7.30pm.
