The Oyster Shed Seafood Truck – New Pop-Up Locations!

We’re heading to some brilliant new spots around the Cairngorms with all your fresh seafood favourites and chippy classics

Fresh oysters, pan-fried scallops from North Uist, battered haddock & chips, lobster Tails and plenty more – all cooked to order with a smile! Sample menu below

We’ll keep the stories updated with any extra dates or last-minute changes.

Oyster Shed Alert! We’re heading to the Highland Food & Drink Trail on Sunday 7th June! Come down to the riverside in Inverness (near the Cathedral) and grab some fresh seafood straight from the seafood truck. Highland Oysters on the half shell only £1 each, Hebridean Scallops and Langoustines, lobster, soft-shell crab, Calamari, Tempura Prawns and classic Fish & Chips for only £9.50… whatever the sea’s giving us that morning! We’ll be there from around 10am till 6pm . Tag your crew, bring your appetite, and say hi First come, first served – these oysters don’t hang about! See you on the Ness Walk!

After the incredible success of our February Half Term pop-up—we're thrilled to confirm NEW dates at beautiful Dalraddy Holiday Park!

Fresh Cape Wrath oysters for £1 each, other guest oysters £1.50 each succulent lobster rolls, Hebridean scallops & langoustines, Shetland mussels, battered haddock, smoked salmon, and more await. Whether you're staying on park, local to Aviemore, or road-tripping through the Cairngorms—come hungry! Thank you for making the first run absolutely epic.

Shoutout to our brilliant neighbours at the Street Food Hub too—, Nana's Thai Kitchen dishing up authentic curries and stir-fries (Reopens in March), and Coffee at Dalraddy for that perfect brew or sweet treat. Their tasty options make the ultimate companions to our seafood—think surf 'n' turf vibes or a Thai twist with langoustines! Grab a bit of everything and make it a proper feast.

Or if you're looking for a little adventure, with fabulous and friendly staff check out Cairngorm quad treks right next to us here, at the food hub.

WE’RE BACK AT DALRADDY TOMORROW NIGHT — AND THERE’S MORE ON THE HORIZON!

Wow — what an incredible first night on Saturday!!! Your support blew us away, with queues out the door and smiles all round.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making it so special.

We’ve listened, we’ve hustled, and we’ve now got extra team members ready to go. That means tomorrow (Tuesday) from 3pm, The Oyster Shed is back to beautiful Dalraddy Holiday Park!

Come and enjoy the freshest Cape Wrath oysters, Whole Lobster, Scallops and Langoustines from the Hebrides, Mussels from Shetland, Battered Haddock & smoked Salmon from Pro Fish or be adventurous and try a battered soft-shell crab. Whether you’re staying on park, local, or making a trip — we can’t wait to see you.

And here’s a little teaser… we’re in exciting conversations about a permanent seasonal spot right here at Dalraddy — now we have the additional team members to help us deliver you quality seafood at good prices, we’re ready to make it happen. Watch this space!

We're expanding our fresh seafood magic with a brand-new kitchen on wheels – think hot, crispy fish & chips, our famous oysters, pan fried Scallops, Lobster Tails and more local Hebridean delights to bring to even more stunning spots around the NC 500, Inverness and beyond! We're on the hunt for a permanent or long-term pitch/site to park up – ideally with great views, good access for customers, and maybe near popular tourist areas, laybys, campsites, or farms. If you know of any land, fields, caravan parks, or spots available to rent (even seasonal), or if you're a landowner open to a friendly partnership, we'd love to hear from you!
