A customer yesterday said, ‘We booked a private tour for Sunday (£800), and after waiting for an hour, the driver was a no-show’
Both customers were using the Get Your Guide platform.
Get Your Guide has been informed of the unreliable and misleading products that they are platforming in Wales, and we received in response that 'all tours are vetted'. They also committed to investigating, but it's been three months with no action taken.
A private tour no-show is a disservice to Wales, its economy and its optics. We receive complaints from many customers using OTAs, regarding other providers, usually about last-minute cancellations of their tours.
