Ahead of the evenings 31 Days book launch, the brilliant joined us for a few hours on the trails. In beautiful Welsh style it pi**ed it down, but that didn’t stop us. We headed out of Tongwynlais for a few miles before climbing The Garth mountain and back through the woods before heading back to drip dry all over the shop floor!
I think everyone enjoyed it?
Of course they did! what’s not to enjoy!?
Rain, mud, laughter and coffee!
Thank you to everyone that came along and made it a super fun morning and to .mizen and for leading it out.

31 DAYS - BOOK LAUNCH WITH ALLIE BAILEY

Saturday morning... (free event)
Run with Allie, we'll be heading out on a run from our Tongwynlais shop and heading to some of the local trails for a few hours before heading back to the shop to refuel. This is an open event and free to anyone that wants to join us.

Saturday early evening ... This will be held at our second shop: First Light Coffee.Cathays, Dalton Yard, Dalton Stree, Cathays, Cardiff.

Allie will be chatting to Lowri Morgan and discussing the ins and outs of her brilliant new book 31 days and will be answering any questions you may have.

Times:

10am run from Tongwynlais for approx 2hrs.
(Free event//registration required)

7-8pm Q&A (shop open for ticket holders from 5pm)

8-10 party time

🎉 HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY MATT!! 🎉
It may come as HUGE surprise that our very own Matt Phillips is turning 50 today and that he did last year too! (Tbh we are all shocked that he isn’t still wearing the medal and the t shirt anymore because he has kept it really quiet 🤪😂)

Joking aside Matt is the glue that holds our little First Light family together. His passion for coffee and the community we are a part of shines throughout our tiny business like a golden thread. So we don’t often get to say this to him, but thank you Matt! We appreciate you and everything you do for all of us so much! (Ok realistically it’s probably most of the time but totally the same thing 😜)

Can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds in store for you!! A bus pass maybe? 🤔😇

Anyway … have the best of days running a 50 mile Ultramarathon around the Blorenge today! LEGEND 🦾
