💔 ONE LAST TIME, CARDIFF 💔 This weekend marks a very special moment for us.

We’ll be at Tafwyl Festival in Cardiff Castle on Saturday and Sunday, and it will be Anna Loka’s last ever festival in Cardiff.

After 10 incredible years, this is your final chance to catch us in the Cardiff area and enjoy Anna Loka’s food before we close this chapter in August. The only remaining opportunity to find us after this will be at the Eisteddfod in Pembrokeshire later this year.

It’s difficult to put into words how grateful we are for the love, support, friendships and memories that have been created over the last decade. From our restaurant days to markets, festivals, food trucks and everything in between, you’ve been there every step of the way.

So if you’ve ever visited us, supported us, recommended us to a friend, or simply fancied one last burger, wrap or festival feast, we’d love to see you this weekend.

Tafwyl is a fantastic free festival for families and friends, set in the beautiful surroundings of Cardiff Castle, so come along, say hello and help us celebrate one final Cardiff festival together.

We are back at 22-24 May, we smashed it last year and the vibe was amazing. This festival we recommend to everyone who has kids who want to attend a proper family festival. Circus 🎪, glass making , ice ring, silent disco 🔇 💃, skate park 🛹. And of course the awesome food 🥘 see yall in two weeks

thank you to the team at for organising yet another amazing year at Caerphilly Food Festival ✅ vibe, people, culture, weather. All amazing yesterday. Now, massive thank you to everyone who came to see us yesterday 😭🥺 literally so many people who we’ve not seen in over 6 months. We are sad as well guys are but don’t worry, we’ve still got 5 festivals maybe 6 left of the year before Anna Loka comes to a close. 1/6 ✅ Next week we are at one of our favourite music festivals!! It’s a small venue with great music and martial art performances with insane music 🎵. Cheap entry and amazing people. Can’t wait !

Heading into a new season, we wanted to take a second to look back and just say... thank you. ❤️

​It’s hard to believe Anna Loka has been part of the community for over a decade, and that we’ve been at the helm for five of those years. Honestly, looking back at everything—especially the rollercoaster of the last few years—we’re constantly blown away by your support. It means the world to us.

​We want to be real with you: things feel different lately. The demand for vegan food in South Wales has shifted, and like so many small independent spots, we’ve had to do some soul-searching about the future. While we know vegan food is so much more than a “trend,” the current climate makes running a full-time vegan business a bit of a climb right now.

​But we aren’t losing heart! Our travels through Canada and Asia lately showed us just how incredible and diverse plant-based food can be, and it’s reminded us why we love what we do. There is still so much potential here in the UK, and we’re excited to be part of it.

​Onto the good stuff! 🙌
We are buzzing to get back out on the road. Here is where you can find us this festival season:

​Devauden Festival – 23rd–25th May
​Feast on Cardiff – 29th–31st May (TBC)

​That’s 99% of our year locked in (though we might have one more surprise up our sleeve 👀). We’re also playing around with some new ideas, like bringing our food to other local businesses, so stay tuned for that.

​For now, we’re just grateful to still be doing what we love. We can’t wait to see your faces again, starting with Caerphilly! This will be our last year as Anna Loka 💔

Hope everyone is enjoying this summer vacation so far with the family and friends, she is a little poster of our last few events for August. After these events, we have a big announcement coming up, which will be bittersweet… 😭 we don’t wanna scare anyone too much as we aren’t going away but this month will be your last month to get a meal from us from the food truck … (sort over) everything will be explained the rest, we will NOT BE RETURNING TO CARDIFF.. But we will be in the Cardiff area. We know this might confuse a few people but everything will be explained in the next post you see in September but for those who come to us for food regularly and Cardiff DMS and will explain everything if you want to know how you can still get your food.
