Compilation Mix will kick things off with their compilation party quiz — think “guess the intro” but not the formal, sit-in-silence kind. It’s loud, it’s fun, it’s genuinely inclusive and it brings the whole room together before everyone even hits the dancefloor.

Then it will roll straight into Music You Forgot You Loved — all your favourite eras, one night, one dancefloor.

Honestly? It’s hard to put into words. You’ll just have to trust us it experience you’ll want to be part of.

Do you work in comedy, drag, burlesque, magic, as a gigging musician, host, or any other cabaret performance style?

Whether you’re full-time, part-time or just starting out, we’re delighted to be hosting the re-launch of the South Wales Variety Network here at Porter’s!

This is a fantastic opportunity to welcome the network back, creating a supportive, informative and social space for people working in these areas of the industry across South Wales.

The evening will include an introduction and meeting, a workshop/talk, some scratch performances and a chance to chat and socialise.

Tickets are free, and Equity members and non-members are welcome, so tell your variety/cabaret mates and come join us!

Alright, you already know you love a bit of chaos and you’re partial to a cheeky clown moment... so this one’s for you.

CHAOS is back — our mixing pot of everything cabaret — and this year are going full ‘Kinky Clowns’. Red nose on, everything else is optional.

Your host with the most, Lana Del Gay, is running the show as always, joined by her other half Bee-Dee Essem causing chaos on stage, behind the scenes and everywhere in between. Add a lineup of brilliantly weird, rude and hilarious acts from across south Wales and beyond and you’ve got yourself a night to remember.

Life’s a lot right now, so come let off some steam — bring your mates, grab a drink and just laugh at the absolute state of it all. New to cabaret? Cabaret regular? LGBT community looking for your people? There’s a seat
with your name on it either way.
