The George is a 15th century coaching hotel based in the picturesque town of Castle Cary. The historic market town of Castle Cary still remains a local, and national attraction. The hotel is owned and managed by Daniel Patrick along with family and staff. Our aim is to provide our guests with a warm and friendly welcome and an enjoyable stay whether its for business or pleasure. We will be open as normal throughout the road closure scheduled from tomorrow (Weds 17th) until Friday 19th. The footpath outside the pub will remain open and access to our carpark will be via woodcock street.

Join us on Sunday 12th of July for our final quiz night at the George! We will be saying goodbye to a long standing monthly tradition here at the George with an amazing quiz and a big draw! 🎉
