Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Forged Coffee, tuck into our delicious homemade cakes, light lunches and seasonal specials, and take in the stunning surroundings steeped in local history. As you wander through the gardens, you'll discover fascinating plaques sharing stories about Cannon Hall, the Walled Gardens and the incredible wildlife that thrives here.

There's plenty of magic for little explorers too. From impressive wicker dragon sculptures and mythical creatures such as giant mermaids and seahorses, to enchanting fairy ponds where tiny hidden wire fairies wait to be spotted amongst the trees, every visit brings something new to discover.

The grounds are also home to an abundance of wildlife. Our crown jewel has to be the kingfishers that frequent the lakeside. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of their stunning electric-blue feathers as they dart across the water.

We're proud to be one of the most dog-friendly cafés in Barnsley, welcoming your four-legged friends with open arms. From luxury dog sausages to dog-friendly ice cream, there's plenty for your canine companions to enjoy after a walk around the grounds.
