🍸 Exciting news… we’re officially licensed! 🥂

We’re so excited to finally share that Caffi Banc is now licensed to serve alcohol!

To start with, we’ve created a small cocktail menu that’s perfect for enjoying out on The Deck this summer:

☕ Banker’s Brew – Espresso Martini
🧡 Passion on the Deck – Pornstar Martini
🌸 Garden Blush – Our twist on a Cosmopolitan
❄️ Frozen Favourite – Cocktail Slush of the Day

Alongside our cocktails, we’ll also have a small selection of spirits, bottled beers and ciders available.

Couldn’t agree more, VAT definitely a big issue for us in hospitality!🧐

VAT is The Problem. | Mae VAT Ydy'r Problem. ✍️

The hospitality industry in Wales is facing huge & ever increasing challenges. We fear for the sector as a whole & for all the incredible cafes, bars & restaurants which surround us.

At 20% VAT, restaurant & hospitality businesses across Wales & the UK are taxed at double the European average. A small change would make a huge difference & the campaign highlights that.

We're not immune to these challenges at Dylan's. We are working harder, longer, & having to be more creative than ever before & - as every hospitality operator will tell you - we're all doing it for less.

Many, many hospitality businesses in the UK are hanging on by the skin of their teeth, dozens are closing weekly, & the vibrant food & drink sector in Wales is truly struggling. We hate to see it.

Why is it so critical to protect the Welsh hospitality industry? Well, it directly employs 123,000 people in Wales. It's the second-largest employer in the country, & represents over 11% of the total Welsh workforce - over 1 in 10 jobs!

And what’s more, as our industry faces these massive challenges, so does the local network of suppliers & producers, who rely on all of us. We all suffer.

We’re asking everyone to please consider signing the petition. The industry is uniting to make changes for the future, & every contribution to the petition counts - it only takes a few seconds to add your name to the 200,000 signatures so far.

🌿 Our garden is finally complete... 🌿

What started as an idea has become a space we're incredibly proud of.

Over the past few weeks we've poured so much time, effort (and a little bit of stress/tears!) into creating somewhere our customers can truly relax and enjoy.

From morning coffees in the sunshine, to lunch with friends, cake in the afternoon or a quiet corner to unwind, we hope this becomes a space you'll love spending time in.
