IT’S BACK: SIX WEEKENDS OF SUMMER AT THE LONGSTORE CHARLESTOWN 🔥

This summer, we’re firing up the grill and serving something a little ✨different✨ every Saturday and Sunday.

Picture this: the table filled with one of our Fire & Coast Feasts — from the smoky Longstore Pitmaster Platter to a seafood spread of Cornish crab, St Austell Bay mussels, tiger prawns and lemon sole fritto misto.

Or choose a skewer straight from the fire: Cornish fillet steak and padrón, St Austell Bay scallops and tiger prawns, or Fowey lion’s mane mushroom.

And you can’t forget the Ultimate Steakhouse Chips: hand-cut beef-dripping chips loaded with fillet steak, green peppercorn sauce, Cropwell Bishop Blue, chimichurri and crispy shallots.

Six weekends. No roasts. Just proper BBQ, seafood and summer plates.

At The Longstore, quality has always been at the heart of everything we do. And that starts with choosing suppliers who care as much about the process as we do.
James Kittow’s cattle are raised responsibly, ethically, and with genuine attention to welfare right here in Cornwall. These animals are properly cared for every step of the way, and that dedication translates directly into the incredible flavour and quality of the beef we serve.

We think it’s important that our customers know what they’re eating. Not just because transparency matters, but because local farming deserves to be celebrated. Generational Farmers like James Kittow put everything into producing incredible meat, and we’re honoured to showcase that on our menu.

From the fields to the plate, every part of the journey matters to us. 🔥🐄

A towering Steak Sando dripping with flavour. A pot of St Austell Bay mussels made for mopping up with warm bread. Golden Beef Dripping Fish & Chips that somehow taste even better than they look. And Cornish steaks from James Kittow’s Kilhallon Farm, basted in house-made dry-aged tallow and cooked exactly as they should be.

This is the sort of menu that turns “just lunch” into a two-hour occasion.
