We were absolutely blown away by the turnout for our first England World Cup screening at The Blue Lion last night. The atmosphere was incredible from start to finish, and it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces (and plenty of new ones!) cheering the Three Lions on together.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable evening. These community moments are exactly what football is all about.

We’re delighted to welcome Ciao! Pizza & More to The Blue Lion on Wednesday 17th June from 6:30pm for a special one-off event as we’re showing England’s opening World Cup match!

Ciao are a well-loved independent Italian business from Chelmsford, bringing their authentic wood-fired pizzas straight to our pub for the evening. Expect freshly made pizzas using quality Italian ingredients, including favourites such as Margherita, Pepperoni, Nduja & Pepperoni, Parma Piccante, Salsiccia & Hot Honey and more.

Tables are expected to fill quickly, so arrive early and join us for what promises to be a fantastic evening of football, food and drink.
