This one is definitely up there as one of my all time favourites. I’m a sucker for pink roses anyway but paired with the bold navy blue and gold leaf is just a gorgeous combo 💙

Good bye May. I’m hoping June doesn’t test me as much as May did. I was incredibly busy with lots of beautiful wedding cakes but being busy means long hours and trying to make them in high temperatures was incredibly difficult , butter was never at room temperature, ganache took ages to set and fondant was sticky 😣.
It was also my baby’s ( all 6ft 3 of him) 18th birthday, so obviously there was a party and of course another cake to be made ! Don’t know if I’ll post a picture of his cake because it was literally thrown together last minute. And to top it off my Dad was in hospital!! I was pulled in every direction but I just about got through it.
I’ve received messages , photos, cards and chocolates from my May couples which makes all the hard work worth it 🤍
