Sunday Carvery - served from 12 noon until 4pm - £8.35 per person and add a dessert for only £2.00. Put your feet up and let us do the cooking! *WALK OUT*

Hello all,
Not a post we want to be making but unfortunately at approximately 15.30 this afternoon we had a couple come in to eat with us.
They got seated at table 3 and ordered 2 meals, ate their meals and left out of the back door without paying their balance. Now to most people it’s ‘only two meals’ but to us as a business it’s what keeps us going.

We do have footage of you on cctv walking through our bar and in our restaurant area, which we will post if no one comes forward & it will be passed along to the police. We would appreciate your honesty if you just popped yourself back in to pay your bill as we understand these things can happen as a mistake. If not we will upload faces to our page and be passed along further.

We will now be implementing new methods to prevent this from happening again- we would have liked to trust that people are honest enough but unfortunately this isn’t the first incident regarding walk outs without paying.

Hello you lovely folk.
Our kitchen will be closing EARLY tomorrow evening ( 18th July) with last orders being at 6.30pm for a family event.
Our bar will still be open as usual for you to enjoy a pint or 2🍻

It is also Friday so that means it’s our Quiz night! Hosted by the lovely Paul. Starting at 8.30pm, followed on by sticky bingo & jackpot joker🃏
The joker is still hiding on that board, will you be the one to find it & take home over £200💷

We are also selling our meat raffle tickets ready to be drawn before our quiz starts so there’s plenty of time to get yourself in the draw for a chance to win over £50 worth of meat🥩

Our last 2 week meat raffle winners🥩

Friday 3rd’s winner was Boyce- his first week of playing it and ended up taking home a box full of meat. He was very impressed with his winnings & I’m sure him & the dog enjoyed them!

Friday 10th’s winner was Dom - he plays near enough every single week so this week was his lucky ticket. I’m sure some of that will be used on his bbq 🍖

Good morning all,
Whilst us Brit’s love to enjoy the sun & use it as a very good excuse to get out to the pub- please bear in mind the safety of our team & most importantly our chef.

If you believe it is too hot to cook in your kitchen, where you can cook in your underwear or nothing at all, please take into consideration how much hotter it is in our kitchen for our chef who has to
keep all of their clothes on!

Again we are only a small team, so where weatherspoons or managed housed pubs have multiple staff & chefs available without worry about the costs, we do not.

Our chef will be taking regular breaks away from the kitchen, so if your paying us a visit this week please be mindful of our team & us doing everything we can to keep them safe but also provide you all with the best service we can😊

Hello you lovely folk, just a polite & positive notice for tonight- Our kitchen will be closing for 5.30 to all walk ins & bookings as we have a full restaurant with bookings 🍽️ Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we appreciate the direction the pub is going & that is one way only- forward!😁

It’s Friday so that means one thing…. It’s our weekly quiz night!
Join us from 8.30pm for our quiz- hosted by our lovely Paul. A range of 25 general knowledge questions - don’t worry it isn’t as serious as it seems.
Followed on by sticky bingo - also not as dirty as it sounds😅 & then our Jackpot joker 🃏
All games have a cash prize which gets higher with the more that play, come down & test your luck💷
