We are absolutely thrilled to announce that The Old Hall & Paper Mill Inn has been selected as one of the Top 6 Finalists in the Great British Pub Awards 2026 – Best Country Pub Category! 🏆
To be recognised on a national stage and chosen from thousands of outstanding pubs across the UK is an incredible honour and a moment of immense pride for everyone involved.
This achievement is a reflection of the passion, dedication, and hard work of our amazing team, who go above and beyond every single day to create the warm welcome, exceptional food, and memorable experiences that make our pub so special.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful customers, local community, and supporters. Your loyalty and encouragement mean the world to us, and we simply couldn’t have reached this milestone without you.
Being named among the country’s very best is something we are incredibly proud of, and we’re looking forward to heading to Leeds in September for the final judging and awards ceremony.
Whatever happens next, reaching the final six is a fantastic achievement in itself.
