🎉 WHAT A SUCCESSFUL NIGHT FOR CLEETHORPES🎉

We were pleased to see some familiar faces over in Manchester at the English fish and chip awards!

As small businesses in the same industry, with the same clientele and on the same block we often get compared against eachother and are solely seen as competition…

It is not the case, we all work so hard to keep our shops running and look after our customers, so it was a perfect night to come together and share our similarities. Hope we can all continue to make Cleethorpes the place to come for fish and chips!

Congratulations to The Fishdock Fryer and of course Ocean Fish Bar on also winning highly recommended awards in their categories!

✨A NIGHT TO REMEMBER✨

We got the chance to represent Meggies at the very first English Fish and Chip awards in Manchester!

As a team we are proud to say we were runners up in our category and were awarded with highly reccomended certificate which only a handful achieved!

However there are only 3 people in the photos, and there are tens of us who are in the shop every week making sure the doors stay open and to the best standard possible and we thank you all so much for being part of the journey.

Also, a huge thank you to every customer who voted for us, and continue to use the shop on a regular basis, we appreciate you guys more than you can ever imagine! 💙

Our sellout 2025 Awards Night held at The Drill, Lincoln last November welcomed more than 200 guests and we have plans for an equally entertaining and celebratory event to mark our 30th year!
