Can you believe we’ve been open for just over 6 weeks already?! 😱

Honestly, where has that time gone?

These first few weeks have been incredible. We’ve loved the experience so far! Especially every lovely face that’s walked through our doors. Building this little coffee shop from scratch and creating something special in Clitheroe has meant the world to us and we have been so glad to hear positive feedback❤️

To celebrate our first six amazing weeks and our recent 5⭐ Food Hygiene Rating (which we’re incredibly proud of and have worked so hard to achieve!), we wanted to give a little something back…

It’s felt like a ghost town in Clitheroe and in the coffee shop today as the weather has heated up a notch!🌞

We have given our wine selection a little glow-up✨
More reds, more whites, more rosé, more excuses to “just have one” with brunch🍴

With this heatwave sticking around, it only felt right to level up the vino options for those sunny catch-ups, cheeky midweek glasses, and long brunch dates🍇🍷🍴

What a beautiful sunny afternoon in Swancourt Yard 🌞
And officially our busiest day yet 👏🏼

We can definitely tell you’re loving the outdoor seating — and we’re hoping to expand it even more very soon 🙏🏼

Brunch dishes were as popular as ever, alongside plenty of lighter sandwich bites 🥪☕️

(which disappeared before it even had chance to cool! 😅)

A beautiful Wednesday here today — calm, cosy, and full of lovely people 🧘‍♀️🫖☕️

Today’s brunch special of goat’s cheese, beetroot, rocket & walnuts drizzled in honey 🍯 absolutely flew out and went down a treat! 🍳🍞

We also restocked the all-important almond slice 😋
AND had a go at making a requested Bara Brith Welsh tea loaf too 🫖😍

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us today — the support, kindness and patience never goes unnoticed ❤️

A little update from us:

For the time being, we’ll be moving to a walk-ins-only system unless booking for groups of 5 or more. Although we currently have a smaller number of tables, the flow of customers moves quickly and most guests are happy to wait a short while.

We’ve also added three outdoor bistro sets and are currently working on opening upstairs soon for additional seating and a remote working space ☕️💻

We’d also kindly ask customers not to use the larger wooden outdoor seating belonging to The Swan & Royal pub, as those are reserved for their customers 🥰
We’re planning to add even more outdoor seating of our own very soon.

Just another brunching Monday☕️🍳🫶🏼
Another full day with the team who worked like a dream together 🤝🏼 so lovely meeting new faces!🥰

We have our halloumi bruschetta with balsamic tomatos and eggs 🍳 and bacon eggs Benedict both served on a wedge of sourdough toast 🥓 with 2 beautifully finished lattes ☕️

Rachel has had a big bake day getting her freshly stocked counter looking teaming with cakes!
