Welcome to Franks Corner Café, home of More Than Metal, the Franks Cars and Motorcycles.
We aren’t a chain. We aren’t part of a large corporation. We’re an independent family business that believes cafés should still feel personal.
Our meat comes fresh every morning from our local butcher. Our bread is baked fresh every morning, and our coffee is roasted locally, giving every cup and every meal the quality and care it deserves.
Walk through the door and you’ll quickly notice familiar faces. Many of our regulars even have their own mugs waiting for them. New faces are always welcomed just as warmly, whether you’re stopping in for five minutes or staying for the morning.
Dogs are always welcome too, because they’re part of the family.
Every Tuesday we also open our doors for free mental health support. If life feels overwhelming, you can sit down with an experienced professional for a confidential chat over a coffee. No judgement. No pressure. Just someone willing to listen.
If you’re a petrol head, you’ve found the right place. From your table you can enjoy an ever changing display of classic, modern and exotic motorcycles. Through our viewing windows you can watch motorcycles being restored, repaired or simply going through their MOTs in our on site workshop.
As the home of More Than Metal, you’ll often see our team filming incredible motorcycles, classic cars and unique vehicles for the Franks Cars and Motorcycles YouTube channel. Every feature is about more than the machine itself. We tell the stories of the people behind them, celebrating the passion, craftsmanship and memories that make every vehicle special. You never know what rare machine might arrive next or who you might meet over a coffee.
