Not all olive oil is created equal
If you've ever wondered why some bottles cost more than others, the answer isn't clever marketing. It's about where the olives are grown, how quickly they're pressed, how carefully the oil is produced, and, most importantly, how it tastes.
A really good extra virgin olive oil can transform the simplest ingredients. Drizzle it over tomatoes, dip fresh bread into it, finish grilled fish or vegetables, or simply enjoy it with a little sea salt. Sometimes the best cooking is also the simplest.
We've taken delivery of this season's single-estate, cold-pressed, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil from western Sicily, alongside a range of flavoured olive oils that make wonderful gifts or an easy way to add extra flavour to everyday cooking.
