So Ireland who already had a VAT rate of 6.5% less than us in hospitality has now just had it lowered a further 4.5%.
11% of a difference in what they now pay in VAT.
It is tough for us to get all the bills paid but god love anyone close to the borders because that huge difference could push people to drive a little further and spend their money there instead.!!
UK government needs to waken up before hospitality premises are forced to close even more doors!!
