A few final seats remain for Italba’s Feasting Supper Club 🕯️🍷
Saturday 21st February.

A seasonal four-course Italian-Scottish menu, cooked and served at the Italba table.

Expect a welcome drink, warm rosemary and sea salt focaccia, arancini, handmade uovo ravioli, slow-cooked pork belly, seasonal sides — and pear and chocolate to finish.

Slow food, made to linger over.

One long candlelit table.

My toughest food critics — my kids — never sugarcoat their opinions. If something’s not to their liking they don’t hesitateto tell me. .

Ravioli with asparagus, pancetta and aged Parmesan - the primi for last night’s dinner for six.
I love Asparagus but the season is short so I try to make the most of it. It’s one of my favourite vegetables to work with (and eat) and this new dish is a winner.

All go in the italba kitchen this morning for this evening’s supper

The beef cheeks have been marinading for two days, wild garlic picked, veg prepped, focaccia is in the oven, torta verde cooling, and the dessert is ready to be assembled later.

A lot of work goes into an event like this but with good music on in the background and some strong coffee in the mokka pot it’s all good.

Looking forward to seeing everyone later – I hope the weather holds. If not, you can expect a warm welcome from Italba dining and the fine folk

Join Italba dining at Comrie Croft

After the success of last year’s Spring Supper I’m excited to return to Comrie Croft wtih a delicious four course menu showcasing the best of local and Italian produce. It is important for me to share my roots and as much of my origins as possible with you; to enable a culinary experience that will bring you straight to Italy.

In the rustic and inviting atmosphere of the Cow Shed at the Croft, experience the joy of communal dining with friends and neighbours. Food is best enjoyed in good company and dining around the long tables will ensure the conversation flows whilst enjoying a delicious, seasonal menu.
